Why?
Why is the 2020 St. Paul Rodeo Canceled?
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Oregon’s Governor issued Executive orders banning gatherings of more than 25 people for an undetermined amount of time. The St. Paul Rodeo researched this and learned that both County and State officials expect this order to be in place throughout the summer making all large events impossible. Due to these government actions and out of concern for the health and well-being of our volunteers, fans, competitors, and everyone involved we are unable to hold the St. Paul Rodeo or related events in 2020.
Why didn’t you postpone instead of cancel?
The St. Paul Rodeo is a community event that celebrates the 4th of July in the Willamette Valley each year. Rescheduling an event of this magnitude in a small farming community would not be in the best interest of our town.
Will there be a St. Paul Rodeo in 2021?
YES! We are already planning on celebrating the 85th St. Paul Rodeo on June 30 – July 4, 2021. Tickets will go on sale later this year – we will keep our website and social media sites updated.
How can I support the St. Paul Rodeo?
We are so grateful to our supporters who have made the St. Paul Rodeo a favorite Willamette Valley Destination. If you would like to help us support our mission to support the community, here are a few ways:
1. Purchase St. Paul Rodeo Merchandise. We have a full online store where you can purchase items to show your St. Paul Rodeo Pride. Online store: https://stpaulrodeo.square.site
2. Donate to the St. Paul Rodeo Foundation. The St. Paul Rodeo Foundation will be continuing to award scholarships and support local organizations during this time of need, donations can be made online at: www.stpaulrodeofoundation.org.
