The Trail Ride dates back to the early days of the St. Paul Rodeo when the stock was brought into town for the rodeo. Now, this tradition lives on in a fun ride along the Willamette River and through the St. Paul countryside. The morning begins with a full pancake breakfast that anyone can attend, after filling up on pancakes the riders mount their horses for a parade through the center of town, a trot through the countryside and ends hours later inside the rodeo arena with a lunch.

Sunday, June 2 (come rain or shine!), St. Paul Rodeo's Royal Court will lead riders on horseback through the farmlands of the North Willamette Valley perpetuating the original kick-off function for the St. Paul Rodeo!
