St. Paul, Ore. (July 5, 2025) – After six performances, the final bareback rider in the final show of the 2025 St. Paul Rodeo won the whole thing.

TEXAS COWGIRL SETS ARENA RECORD

St. Paul, Ore. (July 4, 2025) – A new arena record was set during the evening show on July 4 at the St. Paul Rodeo.

Breakaway roper Jill Tanner turned in a time of 2.1 seconds, one-tenth of a second faster than the record which was set by Aspen Miller last year, in the inaugural year of breakaway roping at the Nation’s Greatest Fourth of July rodeo.

World champion leads tie-down roping after three performances of the St. Paul Rodeo

St. Paul, Ore. (July 3, 2025) - Shad Mayfield is on a sugar high.

It’s not from the strawberry shortcake that’s so popular with St. Paul Rodeo fans.

It’s from the fifteen-year-old sorrel mare named Tootsie Pop, who carried him to the lead in both the first round, during slack (8.3 seconds) and the second round, during the evening’s performance (tying with Marty Yates at 7.9 seconds each).





TOP COWBOYS TAKE LEADS IN ST PAUL

Second night of action at the St. Paul Rodeo

St. Paul, Ore. (July 2, 2025) – The bull riders came to play for the second performance of the St. Paul Rodeo.

On night number one, only one bull rider made a qualified ride.

Tonight, five bull riders got scores.

The number three bull rider in the PRCA world standings was atop the scoreboard.

Team roping record set at first day of St. Paul Rodeo

St. Paul, Ore. (July 1, 2025) – The arena record at the St. Paul Rodeo was broken this afternoon during slack.

In the second round of the team roping, reigning world champions Wesley Thorp and Tyler Wade had a time of 3.8 seconds to best the old record, set in 2017 by Charly Crawford and Joseph Harrison, and repeated the next year by Steven Duby and Evan Arnold.

Local charities, organizations benefit from rodeo’s philanthropic giving and support


St. Paul, Ore. (June 23, 2025) – When fans attend the St. Paul Rodeo, they’re doing more than having a good time.


They’re contributing to the nearly 50 organizations that receive community and charity support from the rodeo, both through direct donations and the opportunity to raise funding.

St. Paul Rodeo awards annual scholarships

St. Paul, Ore. (June 2, 2025) – The St. Paul Rodeo Association Foundation has awarded its annual scholarships.

Josephine Edwards and Stella Koch are recipients of $5000 each for their continued education.

RODEO FOR ALL

St. Paul Rodeo hosts low-stimulation event for all ages and all disabilities

St. Paul, Ore. (June 9, 2025) – The “St. Paul Rodeo For All” is a dedicated event for people with disabilities.

Held on July 1 from 10 am to 12 noon, people can bring their loved ones of all ages and all disabilities to the rodeo, along with their families.

Sue Coleman, a long-time St. Paul Rodeo volunteer and the mother of a daughter with special needs, is organizer of the event. “We are very excited to give people in the special needs community an opportunity to attend a spectator event so that they can build their skills and confidence,” she said.
